Description: Espaces naturels sensiblesLes Espaces naturels sensibles sont des réservoirs écologiques remarquables mais fragiles qui bénéficient d'un programme de gestion et de mise en valeur mené par le Département, en partenariat avec les collectivités locales et différents acteurs (propriétaires, exploitants agricoles, chasseurs, randonneurs…Le Département a décidé d’intervenir en priorité sur cinq sites emblématiques du patrimoine lotois :La vallée de la Masse - marais des ArquesLes landes du Frau Dégagnazès (Lavercantière/Peyrilles)Les vallées de l’Ouysse et de l’Alzou (Rocamadour/Gramat/Lacave/Calès/Couzou)La couasne de FloiracLe massif de la Braunhie (Fontanes du Causse/Caniac du Causse/Quissac)Depuis ces premières labellisations, le réseau ENS s’est enrichi de nouveaux sites pour constituer un véritable maillage dans le département. Ce sont aujourd’hui 10 sites majeurs (5 sites listés précédemment + Cirque d’Autoire, Marais de Saint-Cirq-Madelon, Marais de Cléjoux-Lamothe à côté de Souillac, Mont Saint-Cyr à Cahors et Caselles de Marcilhac sur Célé) et autant de petits sites ponctuels qui bénéficient d’actions de restauration de milieux naturels et de sauvegarde du petit patrimoine.
